Heard that both gaming companies: NORAM/GDC Gaming/Schunock & ONNAM (aka Tru Native Gaming) were given the boot. And Grellner, gaming atty, finally gone. Wasted 6-8 years waiting on Grellner/NORAM/Schunock. All because Parker & Hinse & Kodaseet let those bad guys pull the wool over their eyes. Was Caddos sold out for dinners, or other stuff, such as Hornets Box Seats? Council 5 was right to fire Grellner back in 03, he didn't do one thing to investigate gaming companies.

So where do Caddos go? Hope there are good, qualified people checking things out.

Someone told you the wrong thing about Rick Grellner is he isn't gone. Also, there is a 30 day "cure" time which has to be given to the gaming companies. IF they choose to cure, they won't be gone. Many of the months which have passed with no results cannot be laid at his door, but waiting for legal papers to be approved, at least for Hydro.
Also, a membership meeting is scheduled for the 4th of October. A new gaming company, as such, is being added to the mix, which the Council didn't approve their letter to be signed at the last meeting. As I understood it, Sunway had the money and then we were told they would have investors. I asked who these investors would be and was told don't know. Sunway personnel will/have been requested to come to the meeting. Maybe the Chickasaws also.

Heard the Grellner say about 4 months ago at a membership mtg that BIA was all set up, ready to go for the Hydro I-40 project. He said, everything was ok, with all agencies includign NIGC. According to Grellner we'd be open in September. Then we find out he dang sure stretched the truth. So he is still our attorney? He sure can blame everyone else, except himself. Also ONNAM said we'd be open January 06, I got the letter and I guess a most others did too. Believe me there is no sarcasm here, just sadness of a lot of wasted time.

What does cure mean? You seem to know a lot of inside stuff. Seriously thanks for your info. It is appreciated, but as long as Grellner is around lots of us are still skeptical.

"cure" in this instance is like if I write you a letter, if you owed me money and we had a contract and you hadn't paid in a while, and ask you to pay then you would have thirty days in which to pay or the contract would be null and void. Or in the alternative we could come to a "mutual release". I don't have enough "inside" information most of the time. I'm the Tribal Secretary and we're not supposed to be on any sites like this but I couldn't let the mis-information go on because it wouldn't be serving the tribe, y'all, rightly. I heard the Caddo were talking with the Chickasaws. Is this right info? I also heard if we dealt with the Chickasaws, they would try to take over. If theyt didn't do right when they built their casinos, on land that wasn't already in trust is what I heard, then how would they do right by us?
