Incidental Objectives:

Over the past few months we have combined a few of the programs in an effort to fully maximize our program objectives. Unfortunately, we have made managerial decisions that resulted in terminations of a couple of employees who were unacceptale performers in their respective positions. In removing unproductive personnel and placing these duties under the supervision of more effective managers, we have actually improved our performance. We have elevated several tribal employees to more responsible job duties that have increased the skill level in these functions that were deficient.

We are developing a few more initiatives that will allow for more delegation of responsibility to our more experienced management personnel. Also we have began a program that will enhance some of our more burdensome operations that are so labor intensive that in the past have lead to mistakes that to outside sources that will provide our staff to concentrate on refinement of the ongoing and short term objective.

As Business Manager, I am very appreciative of the Tribal Council support in approving or agreeing with me on the actions that are being accomplished in operations. By the end of this year, December 31, 2008, our staff should know and understand what we are trying to accomplish and by the middle of 2009, we shoud be experts with Caddo Nation operations.
