Gaming Contract Terms

GAMING CONTRACT TERMS BELOW.

In the Special meeting Monday Frank Shounock with Noram/GDC/Soverign brought two people from Dougherty Finance to pitch a new contract with Frank Shounock. Two people from Crossland Construction were in attendance. An attorney from Andrews Davis was there for the Tribe. After listening to a lengthy pitch, the Council voted 6-0-1 to go forward with Frank and his money people. I abstained because although I want a Casino for the Caddo people I do not want to go forward with Mr. Shounock.

We are indebted to Crossland Construction approximately 1.2 million dollars because we moved forward on the word of Mr. Shounock and Mr. Grellner. We fired Mr. Grellner.

In my opinion, the terms are not good for the Caddo Nation. The split is 70/30 with 8.5 percent covering the loan and 6 percent going to Mr. Shounock. The money people Frank brought to the meeting are basically money brokers and want 5 percent off the top or 600,000.

We have received letters pointing out our indebtedness from Crossland and I can appreciate their position. However, if we are forced into a position where we have a casino that wonʼt pay the bills, what then?

The Council is letting the debt to Crossland guide their decision to move forward. To rebut my argument against moving forward, Diane Sparks asked if I had the 1.2 million to pay Crossland. Why must everything be reduced to a personal level?

By the way is GRELLNER REHIRED? HE'S THE ONE THAT GOT US IN THIS MESS.

Re: Gaming Contract Terms

Kenny, why are you trying to be sneaky by coming on as ????. This is further proof that you are very immature. Why not try to be a stand up guy instead of a sneak? I ask again....what have I done to you that you keep trying to make me and the rest of the Council look as though we do not care about the tribe? Things cannot always go the way we would like for them to go, Kenny. That is a given. Things don't always go the way I would like to see them go but I don't go around trying to make you look bad just because I don't agree with everything you voice.

Re: Gaming Contract Terms

The council can vote on all the contracts they like, but, the NIGC still has the final word.

Re: Gaming Contract Terms

The council needs to remember the membership voted for 10 million, then they took it back and wanted 15 million, why ? We the membership already said 10 why bring it back, simply because the council screwed up . We also said, and it should be in resolution form, that is if Grellner didn't write it wrong, that if the casino didn't make it, didn't go, we owe nothing, that is what we voted on, Now, Crossland can sue but not the tribe. We did not waive our immunity by that statement.
If Crossland wants their money go after Schnook (sp) and Grellner, heck go after Parker she signed it . When will people learn-she is no good for our tribe and until she is gone gone gone,we will have nothing, but debt. I say if Kenny wanted to stand up and do something, give her a removal, and be done with it. Show you can stand up and do whats right, or else the council is right about you.

Re: Gaming Contract Terms

To date, the tribe has not received the finances from Mr.Money Bags. It seems one delay after the other, and this council is still hanging with him.. Grellner and the money man were at the council meeting this past week, to address some letter the money mans attorney wrote to parker which she didn't like. I would like to know what letter that could be,, Enough already.
