Re: C&A Press Release 5.26.2009

(I pasted below the important conclusion NIGC made about the C&A Lucky Star Casino: Basically SW Gaming violated a federal law)

US GOVERNMENT SAYS SOUTHWEST CASINO CORPORATION
PURCHASED VOTES AND PAID THE TRIBAL GAMING
COMMISSION IN VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW

NIGC Says Southwest Corporation Unduly Influenced the Tribes

In support of his decision, Chairman Hogen's May 20th (2009) letter and attached memo
concluded that,

"".Southwest did "unduly...influence for its gain or advantage decision or process of tribal government relating to the gaming activity"."

"Applying this analysis, it becomes clear, based on the facts available in 2007,
that Southwest attempted to or did unduly influence the Tribes for its own gain or advantage. By purchasing votes for the extension of its management contract and by improperly funding the the tribal gaming commission that was supposed to regulate it, Southwest violated 25 U.S.C §2711 (e)(2) [Federal law prohibiting undue influence]".

(NOTE: please wake up tribal council & get rid of these federal law violators, ie crooks)

Re: C&A Press Release 5.26.2009

I guess you haven't seen where Hogan backtracked and said he mis spoke.

Re: C&A Press Release 5.26.2009

He backtrack from his earlier letter, and now is saying he was wrong that SW casino did have influence .

Re: C&A Press Release 5.26.2009

Chairman Hogan's MAY 09 LETTER STATES THAT SW CASINO "DID VIOLATE FEDERAL LAW".

Hogan backtracked from the Nov 08 letter when he said SW Casino did not "UNDULY INFLUENCE INFLUENCE, ETC"

That's why the press release slammed SW Casino, Brian Foster, Grellner, etc.
