Now there's a thing!-Looking at all the photos available I cannot recognise anyone I know-and it's amazing how I always think of everyone presenting a human image as we did all those years ago in the musty -but very-clean Tents!I always, therefore think of all the "Lads" as young, full of energy, passion, adventurous[you had to be!], vigour, stamina and Stella -most of us who had less brains, at that time! But when I look at the Photos!!!-Well, there was no "Humpties" there,lads-but dare I say a few "Humpty Dumpties"!! Remember for de lord's sake -it's just a laff!Anyway what I really wanted to rave about was a query into your cranium lockers to seek info on anything that may be forthcoming with the latest talk in regard to Service Pensions and as to how we may be considered with a "part-Pension" for the years we did serve -That is those who did not make the 21 or so years! To-day I find NZ-wise that they have now got the required 18 years down to 14years [It was originally -years ago-21 has been changed for a long time to 18]! This 14 years is good news -if the same attitude is anywhere near that figure by the British MOD or whoever does these things! For instance a Regular doing his previous "5 and 7" -then slipping into some Territorial Service could quite easily make the grade, as it were. I like to think N.S lads who did their Territotial and/or any other Service -could-SORRY-WOULD- make the grade in the same way .Any thoughts or Info on this subject would be very helpful over here we can associate any local Service with all other! Thanks Fellas! Only joking re the Photos!-We are all -----Mature!! That is all our doing -certainly not the Service especially in or at Suez! [Phew!-all my E-mails etc take a long time these days [Corrections!] -still a/w another consultation -nearly nine months since the last! Things are not good!].-Jack.
