GREAT webpage! I am restoring a 1975 Series III right now and hope to do something exciting in the future. I'm living in Seattle and want to head up into Canada. Again, great a page. I am glad you had a fabulous adventure and took the time to document it. Cheers, Scott |

Just a quick post to say your website is really helping us to plan our trip "South" in early 2007, especially with things like GPS and way point information....thanks for taking the time to put so much effort into recording so much useful info! Nick & Vicki |

Howzit Guys ! Just completed our reading of your website ..... What a great site and a superb adventure. We have enjoyed the ride and have followed it religiously. Interesting it certainly has been as when you started we were living in Woking, UK - then we were in South Africa for 3 months and now we are settled in our new home in Melbourne, Australia. All through our "travels" you were heading South through Africa ! Now - when you next adventure comes this way there is a room open so we can hear about your African odyssey. Kind regards Kelvin & Kim James |

During my first trip to Africa I KNEW I had to live there one day. It took a few years but we made it! Thanks for the website, it's given me some ideas for my next Landy. My current one is a 130 prepared by Foleys but after 7+ hard years in the bush it's getting old! |

Hi Debbie & Martin, Wauww, back home again. Getting adapted at "normal" life! For us that wille be the case next week when we fly home. In the same period you came down on the west route, we travelled on the east route to Capetown. Is seems, we just missed each other here. In January we'll contact you because we leave TOY here and in May 2006 we fly back to drive home along the west route. So, we are interested in your experiences, gps-data, etc. For now: keep yourselves warm and we hope your Maggie will get soon a worthwhile boss. |

Dear Debbie & Martin, Congratulations on reaching your final destination, South Africa! It's been great fun reading your diary since we met in Sale, Rabat. I wish you all the best to recover from the reverse culture shock you'll definitely have in the UK after all this time in Africa :) Take care, Thomas Perik, NL |

Well,as I surfed through your website and as a Nigerian I am glad you had a nice trip in Nigeria. The rumours of how notorious Nigerians are for all sort of scams and crap are not very true. But the only hold true to greedy people trying to make money from were they did not invest. Anywayz spread the word of the hospitality of Nigerians. I am from Akwa Ibom State a neigbouring state to Cross River and I have lived in Calabar before. I now reside in Oregon, USA. Goodluck on your adventure and I wish you guys God's protection and a safe trip. |
