Hello, Since a lot of filming of the new Johnny Depp movie Pubic Enemies was done in Oshkosh, we are working on an exhibit The Era of Public Enemies--to teach about this era. One section will deal with how faster cars and better roads helped the gangsters out run the out-dated cars of the law enforcement. Since we cannot get a auto in the gallery, we are looking for artifacts from 1933 and 1934 concerning autos and gass stations to put on display. Might you have any, we would be able to borrow? Just received sample copy of Petroleum Collectibles and saw article mentioning your muesum. WOW - your're on our got to see list for our next trip to Wisconsin (home state). I also collect, but next to what I see on the web site I'm not even eligible to be mentioned... I like a little of everything but dwell on the 3-4oz oilers. Thanks for the wonderfull pictures.

Ed-- Thanks again for the terrific museum--a first-rate addition to the Three Lakes area. After our trip there we were showing the video and pictures we took to friends and family, all of whom were amazed at the quality and depth of your collection, as well as the way it's displayed. If I learn any more about Three Lakes gas stations and garages in the old days (other than Epler's Badger Garage, the DX, and the Sinclair on Hwy 32), I'll pass it along. We'll be looking forward to visiting again next year when we're back in town.
