I am picking up a bareboat charter in Tortola in 2 weeks and I was wondering if it is common practice to tip the base crew of the charter company and if so what is the standard % of charter fee or amount for say a 10 day charter. Our last bareboat charter the guy at the base should have considered it a tip that I didn’t strangle him and before then we had a captain and that was pretty easy to figure out.
