Paid to put this letter in the Anadarko Daily News in response to the letter Brenda Edwards put in the paper on 3/10/2014, but the paper did not print it (completely) and as I wrote it, so am putting it on this site:

This letter is written in response to the letter in the March 10, 2014, Anadarko Daily News from Brenda Shemayme Edwards. The Caddo Nation is a Sovereign Nation with a Constitution and Bylaws, Election Ordinance, Recall and Removal Ordinance, etc., all of which dictate how the Nation will be run, how elections will be held, how recalls and removals will be held and as such makes the decision as to who they recognize as legally elected and appointed or who are legally recalled and removed Council Members. It is not within the purview of the BIA, ie., the Regional Director, the Superintendent, the Awarding Official, etc., to govern the Caddo Nation. The Awarding Official asked for reports on programs, knowing Ms. Edwards took the files and documentation and no report could be presented, she then sent a letter of Reassumption of the programs, with the concurrence of the Acting Regional Director. Ms. Edwards was recalled by the Caddo Membership on September 7, 2013. Ms. Edwards zeroed out the Nation's bank accounts at BancFirst in Shawnee with the knowledge of the BIA who should have at that point froze the withdrawal of this money when alerted. Ms. Edwards took servers, computers, financial data and information, files containing confidential information on the Membership, etc., in the presence of and with the knowledge of the BIA Police. Ms. Edwards continued to pay those employees following her until at least through December 2013, even though no one, including Ms. Edwards ever worked in the Complex from the latter part of September to current. According to the Constitution and Recall and Removal Ordinance, Ms. Edwards who was no longer Chairman, basically with the concurrence of the BIA in the region, violated all documents that govern the Caddo Nation. (Our official website is run by your husband, a non-Indian who is continuing to get paid out of Caddo Nation monies). Let me reiterate Ms. Edwards, you are no long Chairman of the Caddo Nation.
