I've been on the hunt for some reliable free photo editing apps, but I'm running into a few issues. Every time I download one, I either get bombarded with ads, or the app is so limited that it's barely usable without paying for the premium version.

Does anyone have recommendations for truly free photo editing apps that offer a good range of features without being overloaded with ads or hidden fees? I'm mainly looking for something to do basic edits like cropping, adjusting brightness, and maybe some filters. I've tried a few, but I keep hitting roadblocks.
