I’m managing a small business IT setup, and we’re planning to streamline our server infrastructure. Currently, we’re using a few standalone servers, but I’m considering upgrading to a 1U rack server to maximize our space efficiency and centralize management. Since this is a significant investment for us, I’d love some insights from anyone who has experience with 1U rack servers.

A few questions I’m wrestling with:

1. Performance vs. Energy Efficiency: I want to ensure that the server handles our data loads efficiently without consuming too much power. Are there specific models that balance performance and energy usage well?

2. Noise and Cooling: We have a small server room, and I’m worried about heat and noise. Has anyone faced similar concerns with compact rack setups?

3. Reliability and Brand Recommendations: Since we’re a small operation, reliability is key. Any brands or models you’d recommend?
