Is Intel Arc a Good Choice for Content Creators Who Need GPU Power for Video Editing and Rendering?

Hey everyone,

I’m a content creator who does a lot of video editing and rendering for YouTube, and I’m currently looking into upgrading my PC. I’ve been eyeing Intel’s Arc series GPUs, and I’m curious to know if an Intel Arc card would be a good fit for video editing and rendering tasks.

From what I understand, Intel Arc has been marketed as a gaming GPU, but I'm wondering if its performance also translates well to professional creative work. Do Intel Arc GPUs provide the kind of GPU acceleration you’d want for tasks like 4K video editing, color grading, and rendering in programs like Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro?

I’ve heard some mixed reviews, and I’m not sure whether it’s worth going with Intel Arc over more established options like NVIDIA’s RTX series or AMD’s Radeon cards, which are often touted as better for creative professionals.

Anyone here using Intel Arc for content creation? How does it perform? Is there enough software support and stability, or would I be better off sticking with something like an RTX 3060 or 3070?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences!
