Is Intel UHD Graphics Sufficient for Light 3D Modeling and Animation?

Hi everyone,

I’m in the process of looking for a new laptop, and I’m considering one with Intel UHD Graphics. I’m primarily interested in doing some light 3D modeling and animation for personal projects, but I’m not sure if the integrated Intel UHD Graphics would be up to the task.

I know dedicated GPUs are typically better suited for more demanding 3D work, but I’m hoping to keep costs low and am curious if the Intel UHD Graphics can handle basic tasks like modeling in Blender or animating simple scenes without too much lag or performance issues.

Has anyone here used a laptop with Intel UHD Graphics for 3D modeling or animation? How did it perform? Would it be feasible for light, entry-level 3D work, or would I run into limitations too quickly?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences!
