Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to understand more about prescription drug rehab and what the process is actually like. From what I’ve read, it usually involves a mix of medical detox and therapy to help people safely stop using medications they’ve become dependent on, like painkillers, anxiety meds, or stimulants.

It seems like some programs are inpatient (staying at a facility with 24/7 care) while others are outpatient where you attend sessions but live at home.

I’m curious if anyone here has gone through it or knows someone who has—how effective was it, and what should someone look for in a good rehab program?
