They did colorize it blue, but no gold was added for the beaded motif. It's all one color.
This is certainly more vivid, although they did a decent job of the colorization. It probably would have cost too much to really get detailed down to the beadwork.
Really, that's interesting Melody. Makes sense that they couldn't add more detail regarding the embroidery. One more reason why I'm glad the whole colorization movement has more or less gone by the wayside!
