I cannot remember how I got into tyrone Power, I thinkit happened whilst here in the USA a few year ago browsing and then I rememered my mom when I asked her who were the movie stars in her day she liked she mentioned Tyrone Power but then I decided to see and what I saw and have been so glad to watch over and over again are the movies of a abseloutley gorgeous man OMG he was beautiful. I am now hooked line and sinker and have been for years. I have tried to read as much as possible on this facinating man. to my surprise his ancestors I believe are from Waterford Ireland where I also grew up in my teenage years as my family are Irish. So I am proud of that fact. I like millions of woman would loved to have met him and even got a great romanti kiss from him but just to have met him would have been wonderful. I can watch Tyrone Power over and over again and loved his acting. Gosh to have lived in the 40's...ahhhh!!! I will be off now to dream....thanks for a wonderful site dedicated to this talented man gone too soon!!

I remember watching Tyrone Power as a young child, during the sixties, and ever since I have been a fan. Now I appreciate his fantastic acting ability, as indeed I did then also, but there is no doubt to me, he must be the most handsome man I have ever seen. By that I mean, he is streets ahead, not just marginally. No one whom I have ever met, or seen on tv, films, etc etc can come even close. Devastatingly handsome, indeed I would say beautiful. His female equivalent must be Elizabeth Taylor - can anyone imagine the children they would have produced !!!!!!!!

Oh Thank you for the wonderful information about Tyrone...He visit our country twice...once in 1939 and then in 1946. There´s a picture of TY with Evita from the second trip. I love my Tyrone Power...still searching for the books very difficult now, but the articles of this site are extremely helpful and enlightning...why oh why isn´t he remembered and revered as he should be, I wonder...
