Hi, Does anyone know my dad, James Crook and my nan Dorothy May Crook who lived at devon and rose cottage Tom Lane?
If anyone has any pics of them or the house that they lived in would be lovely to see. My Grandad was joseph crook. They had their own haulage business.

I\'m doing some research for a friend from Kingswinford who is trying to find out information about Arthur Singh who was based at RAF Bobbington in WW2; we think from about 1943 onwards. Can anybody help?

This is a very informative site and gave lots of information about the Flying Training/ Air Observer Navigation Schools that were based there during WW2. Many thanks.

I was one of final intake of RAF aircrew to Halfpenny Green in 1952/3 before moving on to other stations in the UK. I recall cycing from Wolverhampton thru Penn and other villages each weekend, with an alternative run to Stourbridge. No motorcars or bikes then but the exercise did me well. Fond memories of the area.

Fascinated by this site - I lived in Bobbington in the late sixties/early seventies with my parents (Roy & Joan Morgan) at Ivy Cottage. We moved to Sydney, Australia, but now I am in London. I was pleased to the Snelsons are still around the village - I remember them well!

What a charming web site.
I was interested to see what Bobbington is like as I believe my distant ancestors came from there. Although they moved to the Kinver area sometime in the 14th century. I really must visit the area next time I'm back in the UK. I currently live and work in El Salvador.

My parents Hilda and Derek Browning used to run the youth club until about 1968. I can also remember a couple called Rose and Brian who mom and dad were quite close to. Can anyone remember them?
