I am trying to find out where an old mate is. His name was Les Hicks and he was the drummer with Blonde on Blonde. We played together in the 1970s a couple of times. He was a great guy and great company. Anyone know where Les is now? Would love to catch up.

Hello, was interesting to read Woodmansey\'s U-Boat page. In particular, the bit about not knowing where others are.
Lead singer, Phil Murray can be found gigging the UK presently (2015) - look him up under Phil Murray\'s U-Boat or Phil Murray\'s Diamond Dogz. His band presently play early Bowie and Glam Rock hits. Your article is here: http://alexgitlin.com/npp/uboat.htm \"\"

Pat Nash from Granny\'s Intentions moved to Canada in the late 70\'s, married and had three children, had a business framing fine art. In the 80\'s he played drums and sang for an avant garde cover trio called Knightkap, and then a rockin\' R&B band called Southshore Strut - me on bass in both outfits. Pat\'s vocal talent was immense. He could belt out the blues like Ray Charles or turn a Tina Turner pop song into his own while stepping out front and strutting like Jagger.
Sadly, Paddy\'s gone now but he left behind photo albums and scrapbooks of Granny\'s and other Irish showbands...somewhere.

I was lucky enough to see The Keef Hartley Band in the early 1970\'s in Bristol UK. Miller Anderson was awsome!!!!

I just got a box set of all of the Beat Club shows. There\'s a band on there that is incredible. I think the German girl MCing the show called them Rock Candy. They were kind of jazz influenced with a touch of blues. Every musician was incredible. The guitar player was amazing. Better than Jimmy Page at the time. Do you have any information about them? I looked in the Tapestry Of Delights book they have a Rock Candy listed but all it says is \"A short lived group whose \"Remember\" was a minor one-hit wonder in 1971. I don\'t know if this is the band I saw on the Beat Club video because the Beat Club video was earlier that 1971. Any info would be appreciated.
