Congratulation for taking on such a huge issue. Something that has continued to silence our communities especially in the Caribbean. As a Jamaican, I am aware of the level of injustice that has continued to plague the society, while mothers, sisters, father, brother, politician, churchgoers, and the society on a whole sit back with their legs crossed, hoping that it will not happen to their relatives and friends. But such an attitude does nothing to correct the injustice, it just perpetuate it. So thanks for taking it on.

I just heard your interview on Wendy. The odd thing is I just read this months Essence and there is an article about how Jamacians do not tolerate in no way shape or form the gay lifestyle. I mean this article let you know in no uncertain terms, "do not come to that island popp'n fingas and switch'n if you ain't female." Now here you come with your 90% of jamaican man gay? Nope, refuse to believe that and its not the article (and I'm not of Jamaican decent), its of all the Jamaicans I've eva known Jamaicans love women. Five @ a time love. I don't doubt you were molested but from what I get from the article, all you had to do was tell someone and this person would have been eliminated. Well, now I have conflicting accounts on the heels of each other.

I really haven't had a chance too read the book but i believe it is time for an issue of this magnitude to be addressed both local and on an international level... i am the father of two young boys and i pray that they will never know this pain. As member of this society i commend Tyson "the author" on his work and challenge all you witers, composers and authors to address issues of this magnitude and importance....
