Re: National Servicemen who are Suez Veterans

Hi, I am interested in your message and would ask if you on your research, happen to come across the name of my father Ralph Harry Thomas Burgess, either from vets or collected information, if you could let me know.
He served in the suez, but never spoke of it.
He was the youngest PTI in the British Army at the time and rescued someone from the canal (a comrade or civilian is not known) but he did receive a medal as recognition of this act.
I have no record of his service number and was possible with the Signals regiment.
It may be a long shot, but if you do happen to come across any information, I would be deeply grateful.
